"Blood of the Grape" Wine Label Series

This project consisted of creating three unique front labels and a back label for a wine label series. The labels would be inspired by the Constructivist
art movement and highlight the forgotten workers of the wine industry and other problems in the wine industry.
This label features a female Japanese worker. She is placed in the center of two clusters of grapes representing the demand for the grapes and the growing pressure she faces.
This label features a bleeding hand with the blood pouring into a cup of wine. This is meant to highlight the rigorous labor faced by the field workers to create a single cup of wine.
This label features numerous hands desperately reaching for a single cluster of grapes. It draws light to the competitive nature of the wine industry and the disproportionate value of the grape compared to those who pick them.
The back label is a modern interpretation of Constructivist design featuring the name of the brand and a fake logo.
