Shooting Stars Premiere • Creative Direction
Westwood's Regency Village Theatre is home to the premiere of Shooting Stars, a movie which follows the story of LeBron James and his childhood friends as they become the number one high school team in the country. Taking inspiration from the film's trailer, key art, and Akron's St. Vincent–St. Mary High School Gymnasium, I
created a full hardwood basketball court design for the press arrivals, complete with a regulation hoop and replica banners from their championship wins. The event design utilizes a full street closure for accommodating 50 press teams for talent arrivals with a post party changeover as the movie plays inside!
Design responsibilities included: Line plans, 3D renderings, pitch deck, production ready graphics, with vendor & production oversight.
