On my way back to my car after covering Storm Kathleen battering the East Devon coast, I turned back to look down the length of Sidmouth seafront in the hope of capturing an atmospheric shot with the iconic lights glowing in the sea spray which clung to the air.
I lined up my intended shot and lo and behold a man sporting a panama hat steps forward and transforms my composition into a scene from The Exorcist!
This was a 'happy accident' and has turned an otherwise decent picture into one that I really am pleased with, increasing the atmosphere of the image tenfold.
