This project aimed to demonstrate my ability to produce seven distinct posters, each utilizing a unique creative approach, using the following seven creative strategies—change of context or environment, combination, material change/swap/focus, isolation, physical shape similarity, metaphor/simile, and juxtaposition.
POSTER 1: COMBINATION

My goal in creating this picture was to combine two completely unrelated components into a unique, surprising composition. By using a vinyl player and an Oreo cookie, I aimed to create a visual contradiction that show how mixing different things can make something new and interesting. I made sure to show the needle touching the cookie to make the composition more realistic. This unusual combination creates a sense of humor and demonstrates that even though these two things don't usually go together, they can be combined and make sense.

My goal in creating this picture, I wanted to create a strong contrast between the imaginary and the real world by combining two seemingly unrelated elements—table and an Oreo cookie—to create what I called a "Cookie Stand." I wanted to enhance the viewer's imagination by combining these different components and to imagine a world in which the ordinary becomes extraordinary. By combining these seemingly unrelated ideas, I want to capture viewers' interest and encourage them to explore the limitless possibilities that arise when one's imagination soars. The final product is an image that encourages viewers to travel to a place where the boundaries between reality and fantasy are blurred.

In crafting this picture, my objective was to draw attention to the Oreo by bringing it to the forefront and making it the main focus of the composition. In order to accomplish this, I used the Oreo to create a Oreo glove, highlighting its importance in the picture. In addition, I wanted to add a little realism by the illusion that the stick is passing through the cookie. It was my intention to direct the viewer's attention to the Oreo by purposefully manipulating its visual elements, encouraging them to interact with its texture, and form. My ultimate objective was to showcase the Oreo in a fresh and captivating way, encouraging viewers to recognize its special features and developing a deeper connection with the seemingly common snack.

In making this picture, my intention was to use a metaphorical narrative through the playfulness creation of an Oreo cookie soccer ball. By transforming the Oreo into a soccer ball, I aimed to evoke a sense of wonder and delight, inviting viewers to explore the beauty and complexity found in everyday objects. This creative method for contrasting ordinary with the extraordinary serves as a gentle reminder of the infinite creative and transformative potential found in the ordinary. My intention with this visual metaphor was to encourage viewers to discover joy and wonder in the little things in life, and to embrace the natural magic of the world around them.

My goal in creating this image was to create a change of scene or context by reinterpreting an Oreo as a paint palette. I wanted to cause admiration and imagination in the audience by putting these well-known components in unexpected roles and encouraging them to see the world from a different perspective. My ultimate intention was to provoke curiosity and pleasure in the audience while encouraging them to embrace the transformative potential of imagination and the magic of surprising contrasts.

When creating this image, I intended to modify the physical characteristics of well-known objects, resulting in a captivating transformation that eliminates the boundaries between the extraordinary and ordinary. I wanted to cause a sense of surprise in the audience by carefully using an Oreo cookie as the imitation of Pac Man. By creating a playful contrast, I wanted to cause joy in viewers with this imaginative transformation, encouraging them to embrace the wonder of surprising changes and the surprises that lie ahead in the imagination.
POSTER 7: MATERIAL CHANGE, SWAP, OR FOCUS

n my last design, I wanted to create something different, so I decided to mix things up by changing what's inside a typical Oreo cookie. I got the idea to switch the insides of two common things: a coconut and an Oreo cookie. I used an Oreo cookie that looked like it had been split open, and inside, instead of the creamy filling, there is the texture and light color of coconut meat. By creating a surprising twist, it makes the composition stand out and even though coconuts and Oreos are very different, combining them in my design created a playful and unexpected result, showing how a simple change in materials can make something new and interesting.
