"Stealing Peaches" is a story from the collection of classical Chinese short stories 《Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio》created by Pu Songling, a Qing Dynasty novelist. It tells the story of a father and son who, on the orders of an official, go to the sky to steal peaches during the Spring Festival, and their son falls from the sky and "falls to death" before being resurrected.
