From thumbnails to more refined sketches to grayscale studies. Those steps have become crucial for my illustration process. Here is a semester's worth of learning this process.
Studies
Focusing on film stills that are dynamic or simply varied shots and composition while deconstructing and working on recreating each aspect (value structure, space, proportion, scale, etc.) of the illustration study.
The center thumbnail, a film still study, and created different possible camera angles for the scene.
