The RCHY product-line is a meant to be an Archery line that is inspired by patterns and colors found in nature such as leaves and plant cells, shown through the rubberized textures, shades of green and layering found in all the products.
The RCHY armguard was designed by me to be comfortable, adjustable, and sleek.
This first round of sketches was meant to experiment with different shapes and inspiration from various organic forms such as plant cells, rocks, and even muscles.
After seeing the variety that could be achieved with a design that looked as if it had layers, I then played around with different shapes that created layers that kept the organic inspiration, as well as streamlining the shape of one’s forearm.
