For a friend's birthday party, I had the pleasure of designing a mid-century modern-inspired invitation with his added request of a relatively subdued color scheme. Drawing inspiration from the era's travel posters, I wanted to capture a sense of timeless elegance. Classic shape choices from popularized in the 60's created a backdrop that allowed the artwork to shine. The artwork itself was inspired by vintage travel posters, with it's sleek graphics and expert use of color blocks. The composition reflects the carefree and stylish spirit of mid-century design, blending retro elements with contemporary flair.
