Experimentation with using the grid with different text size and white space!
Objective and rules to follow:
layout 01 - Using one typeface, 9 pt. size only throughout the layouts type along the X-Axis only. Explore space between the letters and the lines of type. All caps and Upper Lower Case are ok.
layout 02 - Using one typeface introduce 4-5 other point sizes type along the X-Axis and Y-Axis. Explore space between the letters and the lines of type. All caps and Upper Lower Case are ok. Look at how words within a sentence can be scaled up or down. Reference Fibonacci sequence.
layout 03 - Using any typeface/s and use variations in point size and style within any type family/families set type along the X-Axis, Y-Axis and Z-Axis. Explore space between the letters and the lines of type. All caps and Upper Lower Case are ok. Look at how words within a sentence can be scaled up or down. Reference Fibonacci sequence. How can you use the Z-Axis to create visual interest? or as a layout strategy to add movement to your compositions?
layout 04 - Using any typefaces and variations and all the variables listed above as well as a photograph or image that represents ideas from the exhibition.
