I created my own culinary guide and recipe book on instant noodles as a way to practice food illustration.

Instant noodles are fun, trendy and I have a guilty passion for them! So why not draw them in all of their forms?

I explored different variations of my illustration style - from quick monochrome sketches to more refined and detailed illustrations - in order to make the content interesting while maintaining a consistent visual identity throughout the book.

The first pages are dedicated to content on the history of instant noodles and the reasons for their current popularity.

In the next pages I illustrated the content of a pack of instant noodles as well as the most popular varieties of instant noodles throughout the world.

Illustration of varieties of a same type of dish or ingredient are often found in recipe books.

I illustrated different instant noodles packs with enough details and a limited color palette in order to make the reader understand that they are variations of a same type of product.
