PAVILLION IN COLOMBIAN BIENNIAL OF ARCHITECTURE /
PABELLON EN LA BIENAL DE ARQUITECTURA COLOMBIANA
The Colombian Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism was held in Bucaramanga on the occasion of its 400th anniversary.
The pavilion is designed to represent the Chicamocha Canyon, the most significant natural landmark in the region, and is located at the center a map of Colombia made with clay floor tiles. The project utilized local materials and traditional construction systems, including wattle and daub, rammed earth, handcrafted sculpted rock and clay floor tiles.

La Bienal de arquitectura y urbanismo fue realizada en Bucaramanga en la ocasión de sus 400 años de fundación.
El pabellón es diseñado para representar el Caños del Chicamocha, el más significativo hito natural de la región y es localizado en el centro del mapa de Colombia hecho con tablones de arcilla. El proyecto utiliza materiales locales y sistemas de construcción tradicional, incluyendo el bahareque, la tapia pisada, la roca esculpida a mano y tablones de arcilla.
