About the project 
Nizhny Novgorod Automobile Factory occupies a unique place in the world of automotive industry, being the only plant in Russia, producing the most diverse range of trucks, specialized vehicles and automotive components. 
The company's products are popular not only throughout Russia, but also in the CIS countries and far abroad. The share of products manufactured by the plant is about 50% in the Russian LCV market, and in the segment of medium-duty trucks - about 70%. In addition, the plant is one of the leaders in the domestic market of automotive components.


Task
Modern Transportation Technologies, a distributor of machinery and spare parts produced by Nizhny Novgorod Automobile Plant, requested to increase the effectiveness of the design of the automotive spare parts packaging. The Getbrand team was tasked not just to redesign the old look, but to develop a style that would increase purchase frequency, standing out from competitors and demonstrating the key benefits of the product within seconds of the consumer's decision-making process. 

Solution 
Regardless of the product segment or category, packaging is an important form of visual communication with the consumer at touchpoints such as the store and marketplace. Demonstrating the main advantages and characteristics of a product is an important part of establishing a trusting relationship with a potential customer, as only design can capture their attention and convince them to purchase a certain brand. The automotive category - so complex and incomprehensible for many - is no exception and requires a special approach. 

Since the market for this product category is overcrowded with products of different quality and origin, the packaging design should assure the consumer that the brand produces exceptionally high quality and original parts. It was also important to emphasize values such as reliability, comfort and leadership through visual communications.

In order to strengthen the competitiveness of the packaging, thereby increasing its visibility, the Getbrand team made the brand logo larger. Since the image of a deer is truly a historical hallmark, we made it the center of the composition. A pleasant shade of blue helped us to make the packages stand out from the rest of the faded competitors. 

Our specialists developed a single module for universal boxes used for different spare parts. The logo with the legendary deer was taken as a basis. Around the image of the animal there are round stripes, which, like ripples on the water, diverge from the name. This architecture became the unified principle of the design solution, which unites the packaging of all types of spare parts brands. 

Convenient navigation helps the consumer to understand the product and provides all the characteristics of the product. The labels convey the necessary information and, most importantly, confirm that this is a quality and original part and not a counterfeit. It also helps to convince the consumer of the reliability of the brand. 

The effective solution of our agency gave the packaging even more status, increased the visibility of the packaging of original parts of Nizhny Novgorod automobile plant and helped the consumer to find the right product.
