NASCAR Logo Redesign and Stationery

The first part of this project was to redesign a logo for an established company. After some researching I decided on Nascar. We had to create 20 sketches, each being a different idea of what the new logo could look like. 
When working on the logo further, I decided to use the idea of the Nascar name on top of a car. For this redesign, I had envisioned adding a second part to the logo that could be recognized as the Nascar logo without seeing the name. Which is why I wanted to add a car to the logo. After some reworking, this was my final logo.
When making the stationery, I followed the color scheme of the metallic gradient to incorporate a feature that would stand out. For the letterhead, I added a tire mark as another nod to the importance of cars for this industry. I made the business card and envelope tie in with the gradient so it all flows together.
