Scar is a part of body’s healing process, whether it's physical or mental. I did an extensive research and surveys around most of the age groups and got to know how people are carrying the scars of their battles with them without showing, I like to call them The Invisible Scars, these unseen wounds, shared by all, serve as reminders of the strength and healing present within each of us.
Concept Note
A mental scar, invisible yet ever-present, embody enduring pain and the fear of judgment, accompanies us continuously, but partially heals over time. This artwork portrays the inner turmoil of our thoughts, filled with pressure and negative emotions, yet interspersed with a glimmer of hope which keeps us going, symbolised by red and yellow hues, the intricate triangle shapes represent the complexities we face. The outer layer represents a distorted, burning brain, toxic like plastic, altered by many disturbing reasons, but it's healing and restitching itself and due to that the brain has lost it’s original form.
Process video documentation.
I made 237 2d handmade iteration for this project and these are the few of the same.
I also made 3d iterations for the same.
