Felis Margarita is a visual artist who was born Zolochiv (Lviv region), Ukraine. Her creative style appeared in 2014 when she was styding at art school. In 2020 she graduated from Dnipro National University and became a balachelor of decorative arts and classical oil painting. 

Each of the works was created using regular ballpoint pens. It takes more than 20 hours to draw something like that. Felis`s drawings are created with cross-hatching and minute detail, and are sometimes mistaken for photographs.

Drawing with a ballpoint pen is a simular to drawing with colored pencils, but the artist has no pportunity to make a mistake. The artist needs to be careful and trust the process. These works are small (21x30 cm) because this is the only way to bring them to differnt countries during the war in Ukraine. The pen is easy to buy at any store, that`s why this art style is so comfortable

Felis Margarita finds her inspiration in a beautiful photographs of animals and birds. She loves the animal world very much and prefers to show throught her pictures how beutiful it is. Thise works are created with maped ballpoint pens, which are made from 80% recycled plastic.
