The Brief was to develop a basic cheese packaging found in supermarkets. It should stand out among others and should create a positive consumption experience for the customer.

 

Chucks cheddar cheese looks unique compared to other cheeses on the shelf. It does not make use of photographic reference like most cheese. The packaging is also more of a minimalist design style compared to the normally busy designs. Majority of the cheeses one would see today are either vacuum packed, cling wrapped, foiled or wax wrapped. This cheese comes in a plastic container that is reusable with a slide-in-box and a see through window so the customer can still check if the cheese is mouldy or gone off before purchasing it. The flavours include original cheddar, sweet chilli cheddar and hot chilli cheddar cheese.
