MENU EXCERCISE:

The prompt for this project was: "Using ILLUSTRATOR and building on what you know about repetition and contrast, you will create a 5x7 menu for a restaurant of your choice." I did this by using what I know about color theory and keeping it in use throughout the menu. The colors compliment each other while also being different to execute my ideas. I also had to make sure the colors were dark enough to not blend in with the white text. With my text, I used the size and the font to differentiate the importance of subjects. With illustrator itself, I used my knowledge and the pen tool to create designs.
