I loved crafting these IPA beer label designs for Billy's Brew, a beer brand based in Noosa (an assessment). I aimed to resonate with the target audience with designs that were quirky, fun, vibrant, and had a story to tell, particularly one that connects with the laid back lifestyle of Noosa. 

For Wild Betty, I saw an opportunity to create a cartoon sci-fi scene that also reflects the coastal vibe. This design features a neon colour scheme and contains a unique perspective looking down at the alien riding a jet ski. 

Summer Fling also has strong associations with the coastal lifestyle, while offering a warmer and contrasting colour palette with a bolder typographical aesthetic. This design contained expression and emotion in the fish’s face, aiming to make people smile and leave an impression this way. As the beer is named Summer Fling, I thought there could be a metaphorical connection between the nature of a 'fling' and catch and release fishing. Both involve a brief engagement before letting go. I imagined the fish expressing her annoyance of her catch and release situation. Summer Fling was the overall favourite and I designed a back label which is previewed below.
