Project: Lily (a deaf woman) is heavily grieving the loss of her partner, who died in a sudden fatal accident. She begins to see things that do not exist and struggles to accept the loss of her true love. Slowly, she has to learn to accept her truth and move forward with her life.
Mission: After taking notice of the hardships of a deaf woman's interactions in a grocery store, I felt compelled to explore the complexities of disabled bodies and how that may impact a crucial human problem: Grief.
Role: I worked through the core leadership position as a director, writer, and editor.
Impact: In 6 months, the film has been internationally recognized all over the world including in Asia, Europe, and North America in 7 film festivals. It also led to a roundtable with other international filmmakers.
