Corporate Identity - Lucky Cat Cafe

"Lucky Cat" is a Japanese vegetarian restaurant known for its innovative tofu-based 'fake meat' dishes.
The goal was to redefine the restaurant’s identity to appeal to a wider audience, moving beyond traditional vegetarian imagery and Japanese cuisine constraints.
About the client:
Lucky Cat is a unique vegetarian café located in Hougang, Singapore, specializing in Japanese fusion cuisine.

It stands out for its innovative approach to vegetarian dining, incorporating elements like konjac sashimi and tofu-based dishes. The café caters to a growing demand for meat-free dining options, offering an array of dishes that blend vegetarian ingredients with creative culinary techniques.
Design Concept:
In this rebranding, the Lucky Cat mascot was transformed to embody the texture and visual appeal of tofu, steering clear of the typical leafy motifs associated with vegetarian eateries. The new mascot design infuses modern aesthetics with a touch of whimsy, aiming to attract those who might usually shy away from vegetarian options.
Colours:
Adopting gradients in the logo for Lucky Cat creates a sense of depth and dimension, making the logo more dynamic and modern, which effectively conveys the innovative and contemporary nature of Lucky Cat's vegetarian cuisine.

It also reflects the diversity and creativity in the direction Lucky Cat is going for.

Lastly, gradient also stands out in digital media where vibrant and engaging visuals capture our attention.
