Society growth has promoted a lot of wiping out outdated concepts and taboos, which helps humans live better lives. However, just because some of the topics that were  ormerly prohibited and shamed, particularly aimed at women, such as sex or being pregnant before marriage, have become normalized does not indicate that all wrong views about menstruation have been eliminated.
Menstruation, on the scientific side, is a normally occurrence in a woman’s body, serving as a foundation and preparation for being the mother that people always claim is precious. Menstrual blood and menstruation are stigmatized in many cultures, both developed and developing, as associated with bad luck or curses, and women are expected to hide it.
These attitudes seek to prohibit women from menstruating, hinder their development in working and studying, undermine their self-confidence, and hurt their mental and physical health.
To against the menstrual taboos and improve women’s health, working and studying quality, specifically young women who are in the age of students, the digital campaign “Kì ‘dâu’ không kì thị” is performed under the name of Vietnam Women’s Union
