This project was about doing a little poster-type deal involving a world record using Adobe Illustrator. I chose the manga One Piece and the fact it was the highest selling one of all time. So I chose this for my topic.
I started by making a sketch on pen and paper, and then put that into Clip Studio Paint and drew over it, making a more detailed and filled out sketch, changing the bottom pose.
I then drew the final stage of Luffy, which was going to go onto the bottom of the full picture.
I placed the drawing and the sketch into Illustrator, traced over the 500 with the pen tool making a long illustration with it, and added the red background with the onomatopoeia in it as well. Finally, I added in the text and used puppet warp to extend the letters on the end.
