Budget Tracking mobile application designed for native android and iOS devices. The client had enough resources to accommodate individual development process for these platforms and was keen on the smooth interactions and the user experience in accounting ones monthly budgeting.
We as a three member team used, respective design systems - Material for android version and HID library for iOS version. The design process was pretty quick, approximately three to four weeks to iterate and finalize the visual design flow. As the screens were very less, and the features are all about finance, the client was strict about avoiding too much illustrations and artwork, using multiple colors, etc.
So it was kept much minimal in terms of visual design. There was always a frequent discussion with team to know if we can incorporate any styles for charts and the list items.
Since it was native application, we used the native design system and library, which also boosted the design process to be faster.
