Food Truck Project
This school project was completed in two phases. Phase 1 required students to select a food category from a provided list and research food truck design. During the research phase each student had to define the parameters of their client’s identity and intentions for their business—by outlining who they were, what makes them unique, what food they will serve, and how specifically they will position themselves from their competition. After defining these specifics, each student created a name for the business, followed by the creation of an appropriate logo for the business’s visual identity. Phase 2 required the design of a food truck wrap. Students had to utilize the provided fabrication template. The template contained two required elements: the location of the serving window, and a menu board for functionality. All other branding and design components were up to the designer to create.
