INTERESTING PLACE
In this student project, we were to choose an interesting place and create a poster for it. After visiting and researching my interesting place, I went through the process of brainstorming for the poster.
I chose a nearby coffee shop for my inspiration and created a mind map for what I saw after I visited it.
Below I drew out 36 thumbnails inspired by the coffee shop for potential poster ideas.
Next I sketched four roughs using my favorite thumbnails.
Using my favorite rough, I created the final poster. I decided a newspaper themed poster would best suit the coffee shop with smaller details like the croissant and coffee cup.
