with Seven Illustrations for Health King Tea
Product Backgroud:
This product line consists of wellness herbal tea bags, marketed as alternative teas. Emphasizing a relaxed approach to health, these teas aim to break away from the conventional, monotonous image of alternative teas. The series targets young people and addresses their lifestyle needs, providing health benefits in secondary lifestyle scenarios.
Approch & Experiment:
I personify the herbal ingredients in the tea, giving the illustrations emotions that correspond to the tea's functions. Illustration design focuses on visual coherence, combining scenes and characters, utilising multiple shades within the same colour scheme, all related to the functionality of the tea rather than a singular colour palette.
For the naming of the teas, the Chinese names integrate popular internet slang with the tea’s functions and ingredients, while the English names focus more on the tea’s functions themselves.
