I was tasked to create a DIY tutorial that would be published to teach someone else how to do something. I chose altering text for my tutorial. I love using halftone within my photographs, but I haven't done so with my text. I took this opportunity to learn something new rather than just showing a tutorial of something I already know. Below, is a summary of what I wanted to do within the video. I screen recorded my tutorial on Adobe Illustrator and used Cap Cut to edit. I wanted the video to start off with some intro text describing what it is about. Then, moving forward with a single letter "g" to edit. I ended the video off with the halftone effect on words and a different font to show how the effect could be used further. When editing, I added music to make the video less boring but more interesting. Lastly, I decided to do away with the text explaining each step as I felt this would make the video more complicated. The video is very straightforward and I think it is relatively easy to follow.
