ILLUSTRATION & MOTION DESIGN WORKSHOP
Motion Design is definitely not one of my strengths but I have picked up a liking to it. In this year's motion design class we were told to pick any movie we'd like and for a fictional brief we were told to create a trailer announcing the movie available on MUBI. MUBI is a subscription-based distributor, producer and streaming service that offers a curated selection of films. The movie I chose was James Bond 007 Skyfall, released in 2012 with Daniel Craig.
We were told to present: the movie title, launch year, actors, director and when it would be "available" on MUBI. I was inspired by opening movie/series sequences such as the one in Mad Men, Catch Me If You Can or The Archer. I learned a lot during this cours and I managed to do some illustrations for it.
