Waiting for Fashion

Once upon a time, I happened to have a ticket to a fashion show. I decided to go and see what it was like.

There was an interesting pause of about 15 minutes between when the audience was invited into the hall and when the show started. There were only ultraviolet lights on in the auditorium and nothing was happening. The audience on both sides of the catwalk were only looking at each other. Everyone had come for the spectacle. Everyone was in anticipation.

I took a few general shots on the wide angle of my Canon G15. Then I cut out close-ups of faces at 100 by 100 pixels. For the exhibition, I printed the close-ups meter by meter, and the overall plan, 10 by 15 centimeters. I set up ultraviolet lights and put on music like a fashion show. The viewers of my exhibition came to watch the fashion show viewers, but actually watched their own teeth glow in ultraviolet light.
