Theme: Memories Booklet (Friendship)
🌺I used Korean ins and stationery style to present this book. I used pink, blue, yellow and white as the main colors. The overall atmosphere is that of best friends, very friendly and visually striking. The colors are all dark, which is to show the beauty of friendship.
🌺The layout is simple to use but has a visual effect. I basically use balance and the arrangement of shapes and compositions to present them.
🌺I also have included elements such as lines, shapes and illustrations to improve the visual.
My Design Process
🌺My design process is to first set the story or script requirements based on the theme.
🌺After deciding on the script, I will choose a style to design the book so that the elements inside are consistent with the overall style. I would make a moodboard first to give a visual concept. Let me better understand my next steps.
🌺After that, I will make a draft of the layout and draw out my ideas.
🌺Next, I used Adobe InDesign to layout my design.
🌺Of course, before I do the final work, I will print a black and white copy of the book (mockup) and show it to my instructor. Get the instructor's advice and make revisions.
🌺Finally, through constant modifications, the final product is completed.
