Briscoe Western Art Museum
You don’t have to stray far from the River Walk to explore the Briscoe Western Art Museum. The museum offers visitors multiple exciting activities this spring break with their Spring Break Roundup. These activities include Lego building, painting sessions, story time stampedes, and arts and crafts. The programs are meant to commemorate the culture and heritage of the American West.
Every activity is available on a different designated day. Spring Break Roundup is already part of the museum admission with no need for reservations and no additional charges for supplies. Children aged 12 years old and below as well as active members of the military can explore the museum free of charge.

Comanche Lookout Park
Comanche Lookout Park is an area that teems with history and interesting travel routes and landmarks of Native America.
The public park that spans 96 acres is under the ownership of the City of San Antonio. Residents, runners, and joggers commonly use it every day while immersing themselves in the beauty and serenity of nature. You can see the massive four-story column along the trail overlooking the forest and Najo Jam or Our Home, which is the park’s public artwork display. This artwork is pan-Indian related to several indigenous tribes that claimed and lived in the area.

Mays Family YMCA At Potranco
Open from Monday through Sunday, the Mays Family YMCA At Potranco has numerous activities in store for everyone. The place has numerous amenities including a cycling area, workout studios, basketball court, indoor pool, gymnasium, and more.
As a distinct addition, the San Antonio Public Library and the YMCA joined hands together so that visitors and members can enjoy using the library inside the Y. Adults and children can explore and browse the Potranco Branch library with its massive collection of books and computer areas ideal for online research and gaming.

Phil Hardberger Park and Robert L. B. Tobin Land Bridge
On the north side of San Antonio lies Phil Hardberger Park where you can find great amenities including a playground, picnic area, a dog park, and different treks to let you enjoy the great outdoors.
Residents pack their lunches and spend time at the park to have some fun under the sun. The Phil Hardberger Park and Robert L.B. Tobin Land Bridge are connected. The bridge links both sides of the park that was originally divided by the Wurzbach Parkway. It was also developed to offer a safe space to wildlife and give both humans and animals a secure and safe passage for crossing.
