Angry Orchard Magazine Series Ads

The Problem:

Design a series of three magazine ads. This should be done using a product that already exist, but make it into my own. The ad is meant to be presented in a slightly different manner than it normally is.
My process:

Like every project process of mine. I began with gathering information about what size I wanted these ads to be and their usage. Then, I moved on to researching magazine ad designs and the way my selected product (Angry Orchard Hard Cider) presented their ads. Now that I have my selected product, document size dimensions, and knowledge of how the company presents their ads, it's time to start sketching.

The sketching portion of my process was more than just a couple of sketches this time, because I wanted to get every idea I had down on paper first.
Once the final sketch is determined, I began conveying my idea in Adobe Illustrator. In my idea I wanted the bottle of version of the product, information of about the flavor or the product, and the Angry Orchard tree. Along with tying the background color to the flavor of the product that is being displayed. After finalizing my idea in Illustrator I reflected on it and looked for its strengths and areas of improvement.
Once making the adjustments that were necessary for my ad to be complete, it was time to put together the next two ads to go into the series. This portion of the process is simply just swapping out color, product, and information because my first ad is already designed in its finalized form. Lastly, like every process of mine I measure how effective my process was to solving the problem.
