SpiderNova: My Spidersona
Soha Saraf is a talented, young astronomer who mostly runs about doing small tasks for senior researchers. She used to watch the stars at night with her grandfather; he encouraged her to pursue her interests and become an astronomer. One night, as she was cleaning up the laboratory, she noticed a bright flash in the sky. She ran to the telescope only to see a tiny meteorite hurtling towards the largest lake in Naya York.
Sure, she could've reported it to her seniors and waited for them to arrive to research it further, but her curiosity got the best of her. She rushed to the crash site, marvelling at the bioluminescent chunk of space rock. She began to take photographs and samples. Little did she know, she wasn't the only one at the crash site.
A glowing, metallic alien spider crawled onto her arm as she was taking notes, and bit down. Pain shot through Soha's arm as she smacked the bug. Of course, she preserved it for research purposes, but she didn't think much more of it until...
...she found herself glowing in the dark!
