OMNIBUS
Workbook design for exhibition
We designed an exhibit for ceramic artist "CHUN JI YEON" with the theme of "OMNIBUS". The materials for the work that the artist attempts to create can be seen as the beginning of action art. Through the act of ``breaking'' completed ceramics, the atypical cracked sculptures become the very material of the work. Each small sculpture has its own little story and meaning. In order to show off the products of these artists, the layout and design are static and clean, but not heavy.
'OMNIBUS' 를 주제로 한 세라믹 작가 '전지연' 의 전시 도록을 디자인하였다. 작가가 만들고자 하는 작품의 재료는 행위예술로의 시작이라고 볼 수 있다. 완성된 도자를 '깨뜨림' 이라는 행위를 통해 비정형적인 깨짐의 조각들이 바로 작품의 재료가 된다. 작은 조각 조각은 그마다 작은 이야기와 의미를 담고있다. 이러한 작가의 제품을 잘 보여줄 수 있도록 정적이고 깔끔하지만 무겁지는 않은 느낌의 레이아웃과 디자인으로 담아내었다.
