Hyde Disposables
It is fascinating when all you receive is a logo and a package design from a company, where the rest is up to you to develop. Over the course of a year, I worked on a variety of things for Hyde, including email blast campaigns, flyers, event booths, swag, and so much more. The style guide was the first step though to the development of this brand. I can definitely say that this became quite the bear of a project as the brand exploded in popularity.
Rapid Fire
One of the things that surprised me was the intense release schedule that followed. Almost every 2 months there was yet another new version of the Hyde on the market. What made marketing this product even more difficult was the there were plenty of counterfeit products coming into the market, which meant the manufacturers were extremely secretive about the new models and their package designs. What resulted was a very intense burst of marketing merely a week before the product came into America. The email campaigns were loud, colorful, and fast. Before we knew it, we'd already be prepping for the launch of yet another new release by Hyde.
