ATL Sharp is a typeface that was inspired by the city of Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta is a bold, modern, young, and sharp city in every aspect from architecture, culture, design, and people. All of Atlanta’s qualities are represented in ATL Sharp. ATL Sharp is clean, modern, but also bold in the sense that it stands out from the rest. I designed ATL Sharp in my Typography II class at York College of Pennsylvania. The idea behind this project was to design a typeface that was inspired by a place we love or have a connection to.
