Melanoma is a type of skin cancer with more than 300,000 new cases worldwide in 2020 alone. In Portugal, in the same period, there were 1,071 new melanoma patients, 289 of whom died from this cause.

Combining the efforts of organizations involved in the fight against melanoma, we have created simple, didactic, perceptible, provocative and shareable digital communication materials to spread awareness of the disease.

The main piece of comunications is this infographic, with facts,  stages, and prevention measures of the melanoma. This was later divided into simplified posts for social media comunication.

The secont piece was a short video with animated illustrations, telling 2 stories of people dealing with this diagnosis: different protagonists, different attitudes, different outcomes.
