The process of how I created a Logo > Brand & transformed it to an immersive interactive experience that contains Social Media, Web, Out Of Home Advertising, & 3D (similar to the Metaverse), Start below 👇🏾
In true interactive fashion, the choice is yours.
Phase 1: Logo design / Branding:
Design a logo / Brand for Adrian Durant, a former Olympian (Sprinter), who is the Head Track & Field Coach at Cornell University, Public Speaker, & Pod-caster.
Stipulations: Use the Client's initials (AD), do not use any Olympic paraphernalia or symbols. 
Thought process: Initially, I went the strength and stability route (far left), qualities that an Olympic level athlete would have to possess. Upon further conversation, "Choose your own path" (Adrian's Mantra) became an integral part of the design process. From left to right, the progression moved from the strength of a shield to the fluidity of choosing the path that is right for you. I eventually combined Adrian's initials AD, + a path + a Track. (Far right). This was the final design that was chosen. The logo is a rotational Ambigram (similar to a Track) which reads the same if you rotate it clockwise or counter clockwise.
Phase 2: Build / conceptualize / Showcase branding use cases.
Adrian mentioned that use cases for his Logo / Brand may involve apparel, social media, print and other digital mediums. Above are mock ups of apparel, a car decal, and street art. The street art conveys a lone person walking their own path that hasn't been conventionally defined (hence the greyscale). He is walking towards "Choose Your Own Path" and the logos that signify that message in subtle sunlight.
Phase 3: Photoshoot:
I shot these on location: St. Croix (US Virgin Islands, Point Udall).
Thought Process: Shoot Adrian wearing his branded gear that drives home his mantra "Choose Your Own Path" in a location that is unconventional and beautiful. Sometimes that "path" you choose can inadvertently lead you back home. St. Croix is Adrian's hometown.
Phase 4: Landing Page / Billboard (Out Of Home) Adverstisement ideation:
After the Photo-shoot, I built some landing page & Billboard / Out Of Home concepts showcasing examples of how Adrian could promote his brand and what it would look like in the real world.
Phase 5: Interactive Branding:
Adrian already had a good Instagram following, a Website, and a YouTube Channel. Using the skills that I developed over the years: Art Direction, Photography, multidisciplinary design, Branding, & Production, I created a unique interactive experience to showcase what he already had and push it forward. I built an interactive Branded micro-site that combined all of his previous components together to tie in innovation along with Adrian's message and Branding.
