Project I did for SFDM719 Media Theories and Application at SCAD. The concept of this piece if based on Thomas Wilfred's theories on Lumia - the art of light.

 

The 2 minute loop is produced and rendered in Cinema 4D. The photon count is very high but still the edge is very grainy. If anyone could help me with the light setting, I would be more than willing to share my c4d project file. Perhaps c4d is not meant to do such algorithm in the first place.
