This project aims to simplify the wayfinding system in a huge campus as Tongji University in Shanghai through a redesign of the wayfinding signage, taking inspiration from the subway map. Particular attention is related to the analisys of the different kind of users interacting in the system. The final output is an App, customized both for students and for teachers and enhanced wayfinding signages in graphic and interaction with the different kind of users.
The signage system is composed by stand alone poles, info signs and map info signs. Each line has a different color and links all the places and facilities the people need to find: living, education, sport, culture, info.
The app is linked with the map and it has also a calendar of the lessons, helping students and teacher to organize their campus life.
