O Festival Ocupação Preta é um evento promovido anualmente pelo Núcleo Negro para Pesquisa e Extensão Universitária (Nupe) da Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da UNESP de Presidente Prudente. O festival, que ocorre no mês da Consciência Negra, oferece atividades e exposições que ampliam a vivência da negritude para a comunidade, além de trazer projetos educacionais que destacam a cultura e as lutas da juventude negra.
Em 2023, para a III edição do evento, com o tema "Tempo de Aquilombar-se: Movimentos e Negritude", a equipe organizadora procurava uma identidade marcante, baseada na ideia de coletivo e diversidade, que conseguisse atrair a atenção do público dentro e fora da universidade.

"Festival Ocupação Preta" is an event organized yearly by Black Nucleus for University Research and Extension (NUPE) from "Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Unesp" - Presidente Prudente/SP. The festival, which takes place in the Black History Month, offers activities and expositions that amplify the experience of blackness to the comunity besides bringing educacional projects that highlight the culture and fights from black youth.
In 2023, for the third year of the event, themed "Tempo de Aquilombar-se: Movimentos e Negritude", the organizing team was looking for a bold identity, based on the idea of colectivity and diversity, that could catch the eyes of the public from both in and outside of the university.

Com as ilustrações e padronagens que trazem referências da herança cultural africana, o resultado é uma identidade visual vibrante cheia de personalidade, que ressoa com o público do evento.
