300 Sketches DES 100 (200 more sketches which uncomplete now)
By Bolang OUYANG

Part 1: realistic drawing (100 skeches)
At the start of it, I was very struggling with the details of drawing, since the last time of I draw something is like half year ago. The image below show my drawings from the very beginning of sketching. At this time, I was not very confident, and I paid too much attention to unnecessary details when painting, which resulted in a long waste of time. This almost resulted in me taking five minutes or more to draw a painting. Although this early set of pictures is more refined, some simple perspective is still wrong.
The below set of image demonstrating my efforts in pursuing efficiency and picture completion, starting from the second set of paintings, I began to control the time it took me to complete a sketch, which could not exceed 2 minutes at most. Through a lot of practice, I think my ability to shape objects and analyze them in perspective has improved. But I was still wasting a lot of time because I was always looking for real-life items.
Part 2: Logos sketching
The following image shows my sketches of the logos of a large number of famous companies or app. I did this because my goal is to become a graphic designer, so I think logo design is a relatively new field that I have not been involved in. A simple shape can bring out a company's most prominent features, which is the power of a logo. And I also mastered many skills through these 100 logo sketches, such as using a smaller space to still outline details, drawing circles, and positioning capabilities...
Part 3: My favorite sketching (animation stuff) uncomplete
For this park initially I was plan to draw some characters or some scenes from animation and separate it into steps, but just I don't have enough time to complete it. Below is the one I just completed in the due date. I try to position it first, and then gradually improve the details.
In Conclusion
In summary, I still learned a lot during this exercise, although most of it was forced. Including controlling drawing time, smoothness of lines, perspective and positioning capabilities. Some parts are quite painful for me, such as realistic drawing. Not only am I not good at it, but it is also really boring. Time is also quite tight. In the past, my painting habits could be said to be very lazy. I only painted when I wanted to. So 300 paintings is indeed a very big challenge for me. But I still gained some confidence from it, and I believe I can be more confident and calm next time.
