Initial sketch ideas

Had the idea that this character was maybe tortured in some way and collects souls. It has no jaw and half a tongue so it uses it's lantern to speak through.

 

I wanted to play with complimentary colors with the two designs and really liked the turn out. I was thinking that if it were actually for a game it could be two different types of creatures for seperate levels of a game.
