This is a jQuery plugin I wrote to generate, animate, and manage a flyout menu. The icons are automatically evenly-spaced, and a number of attributes can be adjusted, including their distance from the main button, the total angular distance to use, and where to start (thereby allowing for a flyout that only shows buttons over 90 degrees of the top-right of the main button, for example). 

 

The plugin is still in beta, but is relatively stable and feature-complete.
