Installation Design for Bangabandhu Military Museum

The objective of the project was to design a facade that covers the old museum building situated in the Bangabandhu Military Museum at Bijoy Sarani. Initially 12 unique panels were designed using local cultural motives as inspirations and later permuted and combined to generate a number of modules and mega-modules that were utilized as per the shape requirement of the building surface. The aim was to represent the local culture and context of Bangladesh in a more contemporary aesthetic and form. The densely arranged patterns provide an interesting play of light and shadows within the interior.
