Sea Cruise Tour App | UI-UX Redesign

Overview

The concept of the Cruise application was to redesign the existing one to improve the user experience and increase brand awareness.

Problem statement
After analyzing the functionality and user reviews in the App Store, we identified many negative reviews from users who did not understand the purpose of the application.

Goal
By introducing new functionality, expand the capabilities of the application by combining the passenger card and navigation on the cruise and ship.

Check-in

On the registration screen, the user enters his data: name and ID of the purchased ticket.

Home screen

The main screen contains: a user profile, tabs with quick access to a page with a ticket, information for tourists, and the main page with cards of the route ports. There are also daily offers - spa treatments, ship tours, concerts etc.

On the activities page, the user can select different options: visit different locations on the ship (swimming pools, bars, restaurants), select the type of activity for the day, view a list of recommendations.

Ship map

On the Cruise page, a 3D map of the ship opens with a side menu for quick access: cabins, restaurants, bars, activity locations. Also shown below are the most popular places on the ship.

Route screen

The route screen displays a map and marks the ports that are stops on the cruise tour. The pull-out list shows the city and port name, as well as the day of the route and the date of arrival. Clicking on a field opens a page with a detailed description.

Destination point

The city and port description page on the cruise route contains all the detailed information. There is a schedule of arrival time at the port, time to return on board and departure time. There is also the name of the terminal, time zone, local course, driving time to the center and descriptions of famous tourist spots.
