PROJECT BRIEF
I was tasked to create an exact 1:1 scale replica of a shoe, using only white triplex board. The shoe had to be a sneaker or a shoe of similar complexity. I had 7 days to complete the project.

I created the model of the shoe using masking tape to make a pattern for each different piece of the shoe. I then cut out each part using my craft knife. I faced a few challenges with the toe box of the shoe and how I would get it to bend the same way the physical shoe's does. I tried two different methods but ended up using the piece in the bottom left corner.
One of the last issues I had was with one of the main side panels being to small as I did not leave enough room to glue it to the rest of the piece. I had to remove it after it was glued and create a new piece with an extra centimetre to place the glue.
