Midterm Program Portfolio - Kyle Powell

This is an example of newspapers with and without the bassline based on the typography having serifs which gives it a newspaper feel and the asymmetrical processes within the newspaper. I would add the bassline grid into the works since I did not add it the last time.

Toy Truck Icon

This is a silhouette of a toy truck represented as an Icon seen in street signs or through simple technology websites, and what I would change in the image is to match the lines up with the black figures so it would look completed.

This is a format of a Haiku that is made to provide aesthetics and words that would appear jumbled together but is still readable. What I changed about the design is that I would move around a few texts, get rid of unnecessary circles that appear on the second page, and I even try to make the explosion of the text more black and white. I also move the lines up on the black rectangles so it can match them.

This is a cookbook that is made with InDesign to capture an aesthetic feel of what a cookbook would look like, and the changes I would give it is to smoothen out the noodle on the top side of the pages, blur the pastas to make the soup stand out, and remove an unnecessarily placed noodle on the title page.

This is supposed to be a poster about an object, to which I picked the compass as the item and designed it, then add the text between it explaining its use. The only change I made for this project is that I lightened the circles a little bit.
