My grandfather was a tinkerer in Rakau many years ago...this is one of his projects. Most of the neighbors thought he was crazy, but he added strangeness to their village and they really needed strangeness. Everything was the same in Rakau so when anything a little off center would happen it was cause for happiness. Gradually the village became stranger and stranger because each deviation from the normal was talked about and shared from neighbor to neighbor. The strange became the thing that Rakauans looked forward to each day.
