TRIPLEX MODEL SHOE
In this project I was assigned with the task of creating an exact replica of a lace-up or buckle shoe of my choice, in the scale of 1:1. In order to carry this task out I was instructed to use Triplex paper as the main means of creation. This task had to be completed in 1 week.
During the process of making my Triplex model shoe the 4 main materials that I used included Triplex paper, a craft knife, clear glue, as well as a scissors. To imitate curves, present on my reference shoe, I employed a hatching technique across the back side of the paper which improved the ability to curve on the Triplex board to assist with wrapping it around in the shape of my shoe. For the most part the making of the shoe was relatively free of mistakes that would have led me to be put off track. The only real challenges I faced was staying within the correct size as compared to my reference shoe, which was not really that big of a problem as all the proportions were of reasonability when compared to my original shoe. I would say my greatest challenge was my management of time, something which I am tried my best to manage but ultimately poor time management meant that I could not include sole detail. Overall though the process of making my shoe was relatively problem free.

Next we were tasked with making a half version of our choice by paying close attention to the geometry of our chosen footwear.
